This has to be the worst Dry Cleaners in the UK!! I sent a wedding dress back in May 11, a one of from a famous designer that was very expensive. It came back looking like a bag of rags, but the most frustrating part of all of this is the despicable way we have been treated by the owner. A mistake has been made with the cleaning of the dress, this we have had verified by an indipendant company that i was told that i would need by the owner, this was at the cost to us of over £100.00. so the testament clearly states that the fault was with the DC who used the wrong chemical on it. It’s now Feb 12 and i have been trying to resolve this sorry mess, the owner “Raj” is about as slippery as they come, i have never know anyone to lie so openly. I have been in touch with the insurers of the company and yes they do have insurance, but for some reason he seems very reluctant to finalise the process. This has already cost me over £200.00 to send the dress off for tests and packaging etc etc, i wish we had just gone somewhere like Johnsons, where they would handle a complaint with the appropriate manner. Every time i try to speak with “Raj” he comes up with a great story on why the correct documents have not been sent off. If anybody had as many accidents as this man does, then they would be 6 foot under by now. Oh yes, he has been in car accidents, run over, back problems, fairground accidents, the list is endless. He should never be granted a licence to serve the public, he is a liability and a disgrace to the Dry Cleaning industry. As i say, mistakes happen and they ruined the dress in the DC process, but it’s the shocking after service and the sheer lack of respect that he has shown for a dream dress that took a long time to earn and family heirloom that was gioing to be passed down the family one day. Also another major lie that he told was about the indipendant report that “apparently we needed”. After speaking with the insurers it was never requested, so thank Raj, for costing us even more money on top of everything else that you are putting us through. You have been warned, when something goes wrong here the customer service is as aboout as backwards as it goes.
